Job Overview The Mold Technician is responsible for the maintenance, setup, and repair of plastic injection molds and machinery. This role ensures that equipment operates efficiently and safely while producing high-quality components that meet precise specifications. Key Responsibilities Perform mold changeovers and corrective actions

Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections of injection molds

Setup and operate molding machines and support equipment

Interpret mold tooling prints and ensure dimensional accuracy

Maintain records of maintenance and work orders

Collaborate with technicians and operators to ensure optimal equipment functionality

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following OSHA and company safety guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in plastic injection molding and tooling

Strong mechanical aptitude and independent problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Above-average math and computer skills

Excellent visual inspection and hand dexterity

Ability to train and guide junior technicians

Must supply your own tools

Strong communication and reasoning abilities

Physical Requirements Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds

Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and stretch for full shifts

Comfortable working with hands and using precision tools
