SMITH VILLAGE HOME FURNISHINGS is seeking a Merchandising Assistant to contribute to the profitable growth of the company through accurate and efficient support of furniture and mattress buying, pricing and display functions.

This is a new full-time position. Retail experience in the home furnishings industry is preferred.

Requirements

Can multi-task and possess excellent time management

skills.

Have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal

communication skills.

Computer proficient.

Available to work varied days and hours as work schedule

requires, including weekends and peak seasons.

Creative problem-solving skills and learning agility.

Willing to travel to furniture markets, trade shows and

vendor locations.
