This position offers a unique opportunity for a skilled therapist to join our dedicated team of mental health professionals on a Contract. Duties and Responsibilities Conduct initial psychological assessments and evaluate client needs and concerns. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on comprehensive diagnostic evaluations. Provide continued therapy and counseling sessions individually or in group settings. Regularly review and adjust treatment plans to meet the evolving needs of clients. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment approaches and client wellbeing. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment and client progress. Identify and incorporate new evidence-based techniques suitable for client care and treatment outcomes. Assist clients in developing skills and strategies for dealing with their issues and achieving personal goals. Educate and facilitate family or significant others of clients in understanding and supporting the clients' therapeutic journeys. Adhere to all professional and ethical guidelines as outlined by relevant regulatory bodies and our clinic's standards. Participate in regular peer consultations, workshops, and continuous education efforts to stay updated with the latest in mental health interventions. Provide crisis intervention as needed. Requirements Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field. Valid and active state license to practice as a Mental Health Therapist or equivalent credentials. Proven experience in providing mental health therapy in a clinical setting. Strong understanding of the DSM-5 and familiarity with common mental health disorders and their treatments. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Demonstrable skills in establishing rapport and effectively engaging clients across a wide array of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. Ability to work flexibly and independently in a WFH setting without compromising on service quality. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Commitment to ethical practice and continued professional development. Skilled in crisis intervention and emergency management. Sensitivity and adaptability to diverse client needs, including age, cultural, and linguistic diversity. Capacity to handle sensitive information confidentially and with discretion. Willingness to learn and develop as a clinician.
