About the Role: As a compassionate and proactive Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional patient care across all age groups in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. You will advocate for patients' needs and collaborate closely with the healthcare team to enhance their healthcare journey. Key Responsibilities: Collect and communicate health status data, ensuring thorough reporting to healthcare providers. Implement patient care plans as directed by providers to support optimal health outcomes. Effectively relay provider instructions to patients or their caregivers. Engage in patient care throughout all phases: preventative, maintenance, treatment, and follow-up. Obtain vital signs, prepare patients for examinations, and conduct point of care testing as needed. Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program. Preferred prior experience in a healthcare setting. National certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA/MA) is required. State registration as MAIII in North Dakota is required, to be obtained within four months if not already held at the time of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within six months of employment.
