As a Manufacturing Team Lead, you will play a vital role in supporting departmental supervisors/managers and ensuring team success. You will contribute to operational excellence by guiding associates, maintaining production flow, and upholding standards for safety, quality, timeliness, and teamwork.
Your contribution:
Perform work assignments as directed by your supervisor/manager.
Instruct and train associates who are new to the department, the role, or Kysor Warren Epta.
Monitor and manage materials within the department.
Assist in distributing work assignments and maintaining required documentation.
Fill in during supervisor absences on a limited basis to maintain production, efficiency, quality, and discipline.
Support team performance by focusing on achieving results aligned with company goals and objectives.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Your journey:
High school diploma or GED required.
Capable of performing departmental work at a high level.
Able to read a tape measure, perform calculations, write legibly, and interpret specifications and assembly schematics.
Positive role model for KWE Performance Management standards.
Knowledge of modern manufacturing/distribution processes.
Strong judgment and leadership skills.
Working knowledge of IT tools: SAP (basic part transactions, inventory, processes, scheduling) and Microsoft Excel/Word.
Familiarity with pneumatic and electric production tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Previous leadership experience preferred.

Working environment & physical requirements:
Must be able to walk on concrete floors for 8 hours per day, with occasional overtime depending on production needs.
Heavy or constant visual attention required while performing duties.
Ability to lift 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds with team assistance.
Frequent handling of job materials, including grasping, holding, turning, and sizing.
