Skills and experiences
- Knowing how to sell across multiple Microsoft solution areas (Apps & Infra, Modern Workplace, Biz Apps and Data & AI) isrequired.
- Experience selling enterprise scale consulting and implementation engagements that could include global delivery is required.
- Must be an avid networker and have the ability to garner warm referrals
- High preference will be given to those with deep existing Microsoft relationships in the Retail & Consumer Goods organization.
- High preference will be given to candidates with deep Retail & Consumer Goods industry experience and knowledge.
- Ability to anticipate, identify, and apply fast, effective solutions to remove roadblocks circumstances.
- Success as a business development hunter that can close and help prospects make decisions.
- Ability to act as a trusted advisor in addressing our client's business needs.
- Driving sales in a solutions-selling environment at the C-suite level.

What you'll do
- Prospect and generate new relationships with decision makers and create opportunities and pipeline in a set territory of approximately 20-25 enterprise accounts in the Consumer Goods & Retail industry
- Drive industry specific discussions with customer C-suite in both business and industry.
- Build relationships with Microsoft and Alliance partners to co-sell solutions
- Be responsible for identifying high potential transformation deals, leading, and running many of the entire sales cycles.
- Drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, acquiring, and developing new and fast-growing business with direct clients.
- Work closely with partners driving new business.
- Build a pipeline for growth and closing business, including statements of work and contracts.
- Build an industry network to gain referrals and form strong trusted relationships that open doors and close deals.
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of current market conditions, contending offerings and current penetration of services and solutions.

Compensation for roles at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Avanade provides a reasonable range of compensation as set forth below:
Base Salary Range: $104,000 - $123,500 + competitive pay mix
