The Cosmetic Sales Colleague, also known as a Beauty Advisor, is the trusted expert for customers in beauty, delivering a personalized and inspiring shopping experience that builds confidence and drives sales. You will serve as an educator and beauty expert, offering expert advice, conducting product demonstrations, and providing tailored consultations that may include makeup application and skincare recommendations. Your deep product knowledge and awareness of trends help you introduce customers to new items and innovations that match their needs and style. Building lasting client relationships through consistent follow-up, virtual outreach, and personalized service is central to the role, with the goal of exceeding expectations and achieving sales goals. By combining genuine hospitality, strong product knowledge, and a passion for beauty, you will help every customer leave feeling confident, cared for, and excited to return. Responsibilities Begin each day energized and ready to make an impact: greet teammates, ensure the sales floor is clean and organized, review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, stay informed on trends and promotions, and engage, educate, and sell with confidence. On the floor, focus on the customer: offer a warm welcome, make eye contact, and create personal conversations to build relationships and encourage repeat visits. Maintain a shoppable space: keep the counter and sales floor organized, refresh signage and pricing, and assist with merchandise moves to support a seamless experience; finish strong by sharing Loyalty program benefits and thanking customers, using their name. Support each other through honesty, care, and collaboration to better serve customers and communities. Who You Are Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular attendance and punctuality Must be able to: understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors; read and understand employment policies and safety rules in English Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships with customers, understanding needs, demonstrating product application, and educating on benefits and usage of beauty products Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized space, leveraging clienteling tools for offers and launches, participating in events, and staying up to date through training and vendor education Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience required Essential Physical Requirements Talking, lifting, constant movement, standing, and reaching with arms and hands Standing for extended periods, lifting at least 25 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, reaching (including above eye level) Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment Frequent use of computers and handheld equipment to perform job functions and process transactions What We Can Offer You Join a team where work is as rewarding as it is fun.
