The Opportunity Description Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Low Voltage Field Service Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation, removal, relocation, and maintenance of various assets. The technician will manage relationships with Superintendents and General Contractors, provide quotes for additional assts, and conduct ongoing site assessments to identify new opportunities.
This is a 50% traveling position. The candidate must be willing to travel to surrounding states.

Key Responsibilities
Installation and Maintenance:
Install, remove, and relocate assets as needed.
Perform regular maintenance and preventative measures on assets to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct initial site assessments and asset layout planning.
Relationship Management:
Foster and maintain strong relationships with Superintendents, General Contractors, and other stakeholders.
Schedule service appointments with clients and ensure timely execution.
Sales Pipeline
Conduct ongoing site assessment to identify potential new opportunities within existing sites.
Within the assigned territory find new job sites and create leads for the sales staff to follow up.
Asset Management
Oversee inventory management, ensuring products are well maintained and readily available.
Create and manage work orders for asset repairs and maintenance.
Technical Support
Troubleshoot and repair assets both in the warehouse and in the field
Test and aim cameras, test sirens, and assets signal quality.
Vehicle and Facility Maintenance
Perform preventive maintenance on assigned service vehicle
Oversee general facility maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Experience Required for Your Success 3+ years hands-on with low voltage troubleshooting and hand tools
Clean driving record & background check.
Experience in customer-facing field service work (comfortable with initiative and light sales touchpoints).
Able to lift 50–70 lbs, work outdoors in hot environments.
Need to pass a cultural index test—this test monitors four traits-autonomy, attention to detail, patience, and initiative.
Comfortable with 50% travel.

Nice-to-Haves:
Cat 5 cabling & wiring experience.
Connectivity testing experience.
Prior construction or security camera installation exposure.
