Willmott's Ghost, a restaurant from Chef Renee Erickson and partners, is looking for a professional Line/Prep cook to join our team. We work with the best seasonal ingredients the Northwest has to offer, and we re proud to create beautiful food in a fun, professional, and supportive environment.
There is full-time and part-time positions available, non-exempt hourly position.

This is a service charge and tip-pooled house.

Who we re looking for:
At least 2 years of professional kitchen experience (prep, pantry, grill, saut , or similar).
Strong cooking fundamentals and food safety knowledge.
A love of working clean, staying organized, and moving with purpose.
Great communication skills and a team-first attitude.
Availability to work evenings and weekends.
Valid WA State Food Worker Card.
Some level of english required.
What you ll do:
Execute menu items to standard under pressure.
Prep ingredients, sauces, and garnishes to keep service smooth.
Work stations from prep to line depending on the day.
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and safe.
Bring ideas, curiosity, and enthusiasm to the menu and the team.

Paid time off / Paid Sick Leave -
For part-time (Working 30 or fewer hours a week /seasonal employees) - As required under Washington's Paid Sick Leave law, the employee will be accruing hours of Paid Sick Leave for each hour worked.
For full-time employees (Working 30 or more hours a week): the employee will be accruing hours of Paid Time Off for each hour worked up to 80 hours a year. After 5 years of working with the company, the employee will start accruing hours of Paid Time Off up to 120 hours a year.
