Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during meal times. Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling dishes. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure freshness. Participate in catering events as needed, providing excellent service to guests. Requirements Proven experience in the food industry, with a focus on culinary skills and techniques. Strong background in fine dining or restaurant environments preferred. Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal preparation. Knowledge of dietary department practices and experience as a dietary aide is a plus. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen equipment. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
