Pay: $18.00/HR

About the Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited (PSU) is hiring an experienced Line Cook for a client in the Lake James area.
This position offers year-round work with additional seasonal events. You’ll prepare a variety of menu items while following standard recipes and food safety guidelines. Working alongside the Executive Chef, you’ll help keep kitchen operations running smoothly and deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook menu items to order, following standard recipes and all food safety regulations.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain prep stations; monitor inventory and report shortages.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team for smooth, efficient service.
  • Keep work areas clean and sanitary; store and label leftovers properly.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment safely; recommend maintenance needs and follow closing procedures.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in kitchen preparation and cooking OR a 2-year culinary degree.
  • Professional, courteous, and collaborative attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
Preferred:
  • Of legal age to serve alcohol.
  • Prior food & beverage experience.
Education & Certifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Food safety certification.
