We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our IHOP culinary team in Dalton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fast casual environments. This role requires a commitment to food safety and quality, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure that every meal that leaves our kitchen lives up to our standards of quality

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.

Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Manage inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients, reporting any shortages or needs.

Present yourself in a professional manner, including following all uniform guidelines

Maintain the cleanliness of food prep areas at all times and follow food sanitation standards to the letter.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in a line cook position or similar role within the food industry is preferred.

Strong culinary skills with knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods.

Familiarity with dietary department operations or dietary aide roles is beneficial.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of food safety.

Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen environment.

A passion for cooking and a desire to continually learn and improve culinary skills.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
