Reporting To: Executive Chef
Position Overview:
Powder Mountain is currently building our 24/25 winter season culinary team! We are seeking friendly, and team-oriented individuals to be part of our culinary F&B facilities.
Key Responsibilities: Skills and experience in fine dining & restaurant cooking and operations
Familiarity with and safe use of kitchen equipment: ovens, wood-fired ovens, grills, fryers, knives, etc.
Plan and execute daily operations in a fast paced and always changing environment
Be able to keep a sanitary workstation
Prep and maintain a workstation
Create and maintain stock lists and assist with menus
Reports directly to Sous Chef and Head Chef
Clean and tidy appearance/ wear a uniform. Must have exceptional hygiene and professional appearance.
Have awareness and discretion of guests, and be polite
Must have basic computer knowledge
Must assist with dishwashing of all dishes, flatware, and glasses
Breaking down and deep cleaning of kitchen spaces.
Must adhere to our uniform standards and the county's Health Code standards
Have awareness and discretion of guests
Adhere to Powder Mountain's Policy and Procedures
All guests will be acknowledged with a friendly smile and focus on high-end customer service
Plan and execute daily operations in a fast paced and always changing environment
Reports directly to the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Restaurant Manager
Team player, polite, punctual.
Additional duties as directed by Lead Sous Chef
Ability to work 9am-4pm and/or 1pm - 9pm
Requirements and/or Qualifications: Current Utah Food Handlers Permit (required)
Age 16+
Cooking experience preferred
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable Transportation. Must be able to drive Skylodge and Bower Lodge, sometimes in inclement weather. A 4x4 vehicle is highly recommended.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 40+ lbs.
Ability to continually bend, kneel, and reach
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8+ hours)
Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills (knives, slicers, mixers, pots, pans, other sharp objects, electrical shocks, etc: AGE DEPENDENT)
Working Environment:
Generally, in an indoor setting with occasional exposure to outdoor environments. While performing duties of this job, the team member will be frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme heat. This position is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate to loud.

$26 - $29/hr
