As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in creating authentic Italian dishes by transforming high-quality, unique ingredients in Eataly's dynamic, high-volume, open kitchens. You will report directly to the Sous Chef Manager or Chef de Cuisine. Your key responsibilities will include: Preparing and cooking a variety of menu items by portioning, cutting, slicing, dipping, and more. Selecting and preparing cuts of meat, poultry, shellfish, fish, game, or vegetables for frying or sautéing. Plating dishes with proper garnishing for a beautiful presentation. Following recipes carefully to ensure compliance with portion sizes, quality standards, and health regulations. Participating in additional kitchen duties as needed or assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years experience in a food preparation position. Strong knife skills and dexterity to adeptly handle tools and utensils. A degree from a culinary arts program is preferred. Job Requirements Flexible availability to work onsite, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain mobility for up to 8 hours, involving standing, walking, bending, and squatting. Experience working with commercial kitchen equipment such as stand mixers, ovens, and torches. Compensation: The hourly wage for this position ranges from $18 to $21. Additional Information
