Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the preparation and cooking of food according to established recipes and standards.
Full-Time, Day shifts and some evenings
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Assists in the preparation, production and service of food for restaurant, banquet and associate functions. • Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes by following recipes and/or product specifications. • Maintain standards of sanitation and adhere to food safety regulations. • Operate and maintain a variety of kitchen equipment including but not limited to choppers, mixing machines, slicers, steamers, grills, etc. • Perform all other duties as deemed necessary by management.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS: • Able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds including stocking shelves above eye level. • Attention to detail and multitasking skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Must be able to bend, twist, lift and stand for the shift worked.
Compensation Range
The compensation for this position is $19.00/Hr. - $20.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
