Flexible scheduling, ability to work nights and weekends preferred Training with opportunity to cross-train in multiple areas Free pizza every shift, 50% discount on non-working days Locally-owned business, family-friendly atmosphere Job Duties: Prepare pizzas in a timely manner and with an attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency Roll dough, tend ovens, cut pizzas, plate or box pizzas for dine-in or takeout, communicate with hosts/servers/customers to ensure pizzas reach the correct table or takeout customer Coordinate with hosts to ensure prompt and precise lead times for takeout orders Maintain a clean workstation by sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces, cleaning ovens, and taking trash as needed Follow all health department guidelines while preparing food, check food temperatures periodically Label prepped product with the correct day and date, rotate dough, sauce, and other ingredients daily in all coolers Perform open/close duties as assigned to ensure the front of house is clean, stocked, prepped, and ready for the next shift Qualifications: Experience is not required, but must be hard-working and eager to learn Be proactive in performing job duties Good communication skills and be able to work as a team as well as independently Strong attention to detail Be able to maintain a standing position for an extended period of time Be able to carry heavy containers, flour bags, and equipment, assist with unloading delivery trucks Jefferson County Food Handler's card is preferred, ability to obtain one is required Davenport's Pizza Palace - Mountain Brook, AL 2837 Cahaba Rd, Birmingham, AL, 35223
