We're a small, family-owned Italian restaurant nestled along the RiverPlace Esplanade in Portland's South Waterfront. We're currently looking for a line cook/prep cook to join our close-knit kitchen team.

This role is a mix of line cooking during busy dinner service and prep work during the mornings or afternoons . Ideal for someone who's experienced, motivated, and excited to be part of a collaborative crew that cares deeply about good food and good vibes.

We're flexible; this can be a full-time or part-time position depending on your availability and experience.

What You'll Be Doing: Work the line during dinner service , executing dishes to spec and maintaining consistent quality

During prep shifts, update the buy list and collaborate with Chef Leads to track low stock and inventory

Prep recipe items based on expected business levels, and make sure the line is fully stocked before service

Learn all roles in the kitchen we're collaborative , and everyone is expected to jump in where needed

Yes, that includes helping with dishes , cleaning, and supporting the team wherever it's needed

Maintain a clean and organized workstation, follow food safety standards, and communicate clearly with the team

Bring creative energy: we welcome input on specials, recipes, and new ideas

What We're Looking For: At least 1 to 2 years of line cook experience in a fast-paced kitchen

Familiarity with Italian cuisine is a plus, but not required; we're happy to teach if you're excited to learn

Bonus if you've helped with recipe development or kitchen creativity

Strong prep and organizational skills

A team player who thrives in a positive, collaborative environment

Self-motivated and reliable especially during solo prep hours
