Line Cook Redheaded Stranger (East Nashville, TN)

Redheaded Stranger is a neighborhood taco shop in East Nashville. Were known for our house made tortillas, smoked brisket, hatch green chiles, and other craveable Southwestern-inspired dishes. Were looking for reliable, team-oriented line cooks who are passionate about food, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in consistency and quality.

This position pays $20 an hour plus tips!

What We Need You To Do:

• Thrive in a fast-paced kitchen. We work ticket by ticket, and there's a lot of them.
• Set up and work your assigned line station with accuracy and efficiency.
• Follow recipes and directions and do some light prep.
• Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Work as part of a team to keep service smooth, efficient, and fun.
• Close and clean your station thoroughly at the end of each shift.

What Were Looking For

• Reliability is a must! we need team members who show up on time, ready to work.
• We can make any availability work for the right person!
• Solid cooking fundamentals and knife skills.
• Ability to follow direction and prioritize tasks.
• Understanding of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
