CARE Counseling , part of the Optum family of businesses, is looking for dedicated Licensed Outpatient Therapists to join our innovative team. This is a full-time position (0.7 - 1.0 FTE) offering the flexibility of onsite or hybrid work arrangements. As a valuable member of the Optum Behavioral Care Team, you will play a crucial role in transforming healthcare for individuals in need. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive screenings and assessments for patients facing mental health challenges and substance abuse issues. Deliver effective treatment for mental health conditions utilizing a variety of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and additional evidence-based methods. Keep systematic records of treatment responses and diligently monitor patients for any changes in clinical symptoms or treatment-related side effects. Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic medical records and documentation in compliance with all regulatory standards. Required Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral Degree in Behavioral Science or a related field (Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Education, etc.). Active, independent clinical license as a Mental Health Professional in the State of Minnesota: LP, LPCC, LICSW, LMFT. Proficient in using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Ability to work in one of the following formats: Onsite (all work at a single location). Hybrid (at least 2 days onsite; must have a designated, distraction-free workspace at home with high-speed internet access).
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in outpatient mental health settings. Familiarity with clinical documentation. Proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments. Experience in treatment planning and managing a caseload. Knowledge of AthenaHealth/AthenaOne and/or Opus systems. Skill in entering data into Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Adept at interpreting and applying information from reports and compliance manuals. Experience presenting information and responding to inquiries from various stakeholders, including community providers and medical professionals. Understanding of the impacts of mental illness, informed by diverse disciplines related to patient care. Compensation for this role ranges from $58,800 to $105,000 annually, based on factors such as local market conditions, education, work experience, and certifications.
