Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Summary: As a Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist, you will deliver critical assessment, triage, and therapeutic services to patients and their families. You will operate independently in your role, addressing mental health needs and facilitating the best possible outcomes through comprehensive care and planning. Responsibilities: Provide individual and group therapy sessions, assessing and interviewing patients, families, and caregivers to develop tailored treatment plans. Determine and coordinate necessary services, facilitating case reviews and care conferences to monitor patients’ progress. Assist with discharge planning, identifying community resources, and ensuring appropriate referrals are made to support ongoing care. Utilize effective teaching methods to meet the educational needs of patients and families, while also training new staff and interns as needed. Minimum Requirements: A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), or Licensed Addiction Counselor (ACD) is required; other relevant licenses may be accepted with departmental approval.
