Overview of the Assistant Store Manager Role Job Description: The primary responsibility of this role is to assist the store manager in achieving and exceeding sales targets while maintaining profitable store operations. This includes supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service. This position assumes leadership responsibilities in the absence of the store manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven sales background, demonstrated selling skills, and experience in a supervisory role preferably in a premium specialty retail environment. Participate in planning and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed weekly, monthly, annual sales budgets. Maintain high standards of knowledge about products, company policies, and procedures to effectively communicate with store staff. Develop and implement action plans to improve store performance and achieve business objectives.
