Job Overview : As a Lead Software Engineer, you will partner with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy scalable software solutions tailored to meet customer needs. This pivotal role influences architecture and design efforts while leveraging advanced technologies such as virtualization, microservices, SDN, NFV, and Big Data platforms. Your technical expertise and initiative will be crucial, and you may take on informal leadership responsibilities. Responsibilities : Lead engineering projects and develop cutting-edge software solutions. Supervise engineers as required and foster a collaborative team environment. Understand system protocols and data flows to independently create comprehensive software stacks. Drive system design improvements and spearhead innovation initiatives. Collaborate with technical teams, mentor colleagues, and contribute to overall technology strategy. Create clear and thorough technical documentation and system designs. Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering. 7-10 years of technical engineering experience. Experience with Generative AI, microservices architecture, APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred). Proficiency in full-stack development, AI/ML technologies, and scalable application deployment. Skills and Abilities : Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong analytical and technical writing skills. Additional Information : Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S. Travel is required. This position is not DOT regulated or safety sensitive. The base pay range for this role is $129,400 - $233,400, with a 20% bonus target. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as location and experience.
