We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Lead Server to join our dynamic team. The Lead Server serves as a key member of the food and beverage team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while overseeing the performance of other servers. This role involves a blend of customer service excellence, leadership, and practical serving skills.
*Duties*
Greet guests, present menus (for table service), and answer questions about food and beverage items. Oversee the work of other servers, providing training and guidance as necessary. Take orders accurately and communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests, including Room Service and Momentum food service. Handle complaints or concerns professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsible for daily shift setup and closure, including inventory and cash handling. Assist the Director of Outlets in evaluating server performance and providing feedback. Managing basic front of house inventory for Plaza Provisions (paper goods, condiments, soda, etc)
*Skills*
Full Time Lead Position that requires full flexibility, ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and a varied schedule Minimum 1+ year experience in Food Operations, preferably in a high volume restaurant or lounge Must be available to work mornings, evening and/or late-night hours weekends and holidays as business dictates Must display ability to work with general computer operations, including Point-of-Sales (Toast for Marriott) Capability to interact with customers, professional and positive demeanor.
