OVERVIEW: The Lead Retail Sales Associate has a significant impact on executing brand standards and enhancing the teammate experience. In collaboration with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead is the go-to expert for their department. Commitment to exceptional customer service and effective teamwork is essential. Key responsibilities include: Building a strong team by participating in recruiting efforts and guiding department tours. Cultivating a people-first culture through positive connections with all teammates. Planning and organizing store operations 30 days in advance, in tandem with the store leadership team. Ensuring daily execution of brand standards and effective task delegation. Upholding merchandising and presentation standards by adhering to company guidelines. Assisting in the general supervision of store activities as directed by store leadership. Training and onboarding new teammates while promoting cross-training. Fostering personal development and coaching teammates for success. Leading by example to align team efforts with the organization's mission and objectives. Creating an inclusive and welcoming store environment for both teammates and customers. Adhering to policies regarding safety and loss prevention while maintaining confidentiality of company information. Supporting store operations with a collaborative “all-hands-on-deck” approach. Performing additional tasks as assigned by management. Ability to perform physical activities including standing, bending, lifting, and reaching (lifting 15 to 35 lbs regularly). Capable of working extended periods on feet (up to 4 hours). Able to utilize ladders or aerial lifting devices for heights above 4 feet. Comfortable performing repetitive tasks for short durations (up to 2 hours continuously).
