The primary responsibility of the Lead Retail Merchandiser is to supervise and develop team members to enhance sales performance while meeting the expectations of our retailers and clients. You’ll also play a crucial role in project completion, stocking, maintaining merchandise, and facilitating communications within the store. Success in this position involves effectively selling our product lines and educating both customers and store personnel. You will report directly to the Market Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish strong relationships through daily communication with store associates and management
Train, supervise, and develop the skills of Sales Merchandisers, fellow Leads, and seasonal associates
Educate customers and store staff on the benefits and features of our client’s product lines
Ensure accuracy and quality in all work areas to meet or exceed client expectations
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company policies
Communicate achievements and potential challenges to the Market Sales Manager
Utilize all functions of handheld devices effectively and consistently
Uphold confidentiality for company, client, and retailer information
Requirements:
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs, with frequent lifting or carrying of items up to 35 lbs; assistance will be available for heavier items up to 100 lbs
Comfortable working while sitting, standing, or walking
Capable of fine hand manipulation, bending, twisting, squatting, and climbing
Experience with electronic and technical products
Must be independent, self-motivated, and adaptable to a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and overnights
High School diploma or equivalent required
A valid driver's license is necessary for potential travel to various locations
Automobile liability insurance must be maintained
Proficient in computer use, printing capabilities, internet access, and email
Customer service or sales experience is required
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
