Lead - Technician Radiology/Imaging
The Lead Radiology Tech supervises clinical, technical, and non-technical staff to assure efficient and quality patient care.
Essential Job Duties :
The Lead Radiology Tech Maintains departmental schedules, including all Imaging Departments, fixed hours and on-call. Coordinates after hour cases based on patient, physician, and staffing needs and availability. Covers for absent employees and/or the Manager/Director of Diagnostic and Treatment Services. Assists in controlling department costs, at a minimum staying within budget guidelines, with the goal of exceeding budget projections. Maintains the KRONOS payroll system and staffing productivity.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION:
Some supervisor or floor lead experience in an acute care hospital Radiology Department preferred
3+ years related experience
Subject expert with broader knowledge of discipline is a plusGraduate of an approved school of radiologic technology.
Associates Degree required .
Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
CRT required .
CA State Fluoroscopy permit required .
ARRT required .
CPR required .
Society affiliation, i.e., ASRT, preferred.
