As we enter the next phase of growth, our focus is on scaling our teams, services, and elevating the customer experience!This is where you come in...Lead Pharmacy TechnicianThe Lead Pharmacy Technician is responsible for independent, self-motivated completion of day-to-day pharmacy care activities including dispensing of medications, management of inventory, and supervision of other technicians. This role works closely with our pharmacy staff to provide excellent care to the patients across our medical group and associated patient care functions. The perfect candidate for this role is a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented individual with prior experience in a specialty pharmacy, mail order, or infusion care environment with prior experience with cross functional teams of clinical and operational professionals.Here's what you'll be doing...Medication dispensing and delivery: performance of accurate, day-to-day medication dispensing and prescription delivery activities in accordance with assigned workflows and patient prescription queues. These activities may include but are not limited to: prescription data entry, fulfilment of prescription orders, medical supply pick/pack, preparation of prescription deliveries, and management of prescription deliveries via mail or common carrier vendors.Inventory and supply chain management: daily upkeep of inventory management activities such as drug and medical supply ordering, scheduled full inventory and cycle counts, resolution of inventory problems such as expired or recalled medications, and regular maintenance of all associated supply chain documentation as assigned.Excellent patient care and customer service: performance of daily patient care and patient status calls, confirmation of deliveries and patient due dates, and ongoing communication with prescribers/medical office staff to properly manage patient prescription orders with the highest attention to excellent customer service.Interprofessional collaboration: ongoing day-to-day interaction with a variety of internal and external medical, clinical, and operational professionals in a highly dynamic, high growth environment with a patient-first and quality-first mindset.Here's what we're looking for...3+ years of relevant pharmacy technician experience in a specialty, mail order, or infusion pharmacy or medical group settingActive pharmacy technician certification in the state of Texas in good standingHigh school diploma or GED requiredExcellent problem-solving and communication skillPrevious experience with CareTend, CPR+, or PioneerRx preferred.Bilingual language skills preferredDemonstrated familiarity with technician management, supply chain management, and/or pharmacy benefit troubleshooting preferredPrior experience with change management or high growth settings is preferredDon't feel like you have all the qualifications?The description above indicates our current vision for the role.
