As a lead foodservice worker, you will have the opportunity to lead daily operation onsite by ensuring quality food preparation and service. Note: Applicants must be over 21 years old and will be required to pass a background check in accordance with the correctional facility's procedures and applicable law. What you'll be doing: Ensuring proper preparation and storage of food. Directing food service staff and operations to ensure a successful meal service. Ordering food and paper products as needed. Ensuring sanitation and safety procedures are followed at all times. Training new staff members as needed. What we're looking for: Must-haves: High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Strong customer service skills. ServSafe certification. At least one years’ experience in a foodservice role. Nice-to-haves: At least one years’ experience in a supervisory role.
