This role is ideal for someone friendly, upbeat, and professional—able to balance being a fun presence for the kids while also staying organized, proactive, and a step ahead in managing the home. The family is open to live-in or live-out, depending on the candidate's preference.
Start Date: October 15th, ideally
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 11am-7pm (occasional evenings for date nights)Live-in is highly preferred, but open to live-out if the candidate is close
Travel:
Domestic: extended summer trips possible
International: 2–3 weeks during the summer
Occasional 1-week trips during the school year
Responsibilities
Keep the home tidy and organized; manage household inventory and supplies
School pickups, after-school activities, and playdate management is a tag team effort with the mom
Cook healthy family dinners 4x per week (protein, carb, salad); collaborate with mom on menu planning and prep
Children’s laundry and ensuring clothes, shoes, and backpacks are organized and presentable
Grocery shopping and errands as needed
Provide a warm, watchful presence, supporting homework, play, and routines
Support family during domestic and international travel (packing, routines, transitions)
Qualifications
5+ years of childcare experience, preferably with school-aged children
Warm, energetic personality with ability to balance friendliness and authority
Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
Fluent in English; Spanish-speaking is a bonus
CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to renew)
Confident swimmer (family has a pool)
Strong driver, comfortable in Miami
Experience with travel support for families
Requirements
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with present parents
Gentle but firm discipline style—emphasizing respect, manners, and consistency
Ability to evaluate household needs and take initiative without being asked
Flexibility for occasional schedule adjustments
Salary and Benefits
$72,800–$83,200 for 40 hours per week($35-$40/hr)
2 weeks PTO
3–5 sick days
Paid holidays (time-and-a-half if required to work)
Health stipend negotiable
