Juice Bar Server

JOB OVERVIEW
Under the Food Service Manager supervision, the Juice Bar Server performs the following duties:
TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and provide prompt courteous customer service
Prep fruits and vegetables for fresh juices- continuous as needed (Must be able to read and understand recipe’s in English)
Make fresh juices using electric juicers
Assist customers with questions and product selection
Completes customer orders in a timely manner
Maintain juice bar department area clean and sanitized
Maintain safety of work area
Assist in the deli as needed
Follow departmental procedures for safety, proper food handling, and sanitation according to local, state, and federal health code regulations
Use a cash register
QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES
Any combination equivalent to, but not limited to, the following:
Training/Education:
A High School Diploma or G.E.D. certificate
Knowledge of:
Customer service techniques
Verbal proficiency of the English Language, and be able to read and write English at a basic level
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions :
Bending & lifting up to 50 pounds
Move stock from storage to shelf/preparation areas
Repetitive movement, cutting veggies and fruit with a knife
Daily work with knives and other sharp items
Stand and walk for extended periods of time
Special Requirements :
Must be available to work various shifts as needed including weekends.
