Joining our team means contributing and making an impact every day. Overview We are seeking a temporary employee for a 6-month, full-time assignment as an IT Retail Energy Project Manager. In this role, you will lead and oversee a complex IT project focused on customer experience improvements in the Retail Power energy sector. Your responsibilities include strategic planning, execution, and delivery of this high-profile project, working closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior management to ensure timely, within scope, and within budget completion. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Stakeholder Management: Engage with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to align project goals with business objectives. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure success. Budget Management: Monitor and control project budgets for efficient resource use. Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance to achieve goals. Documentation and Reporting: Track project progress and prepare status updates for senior management. Qualifications and Skills: Educational Background: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience: 10+ years in software development, project management, or business analysis, with proven success leading cross-functional teams. Technical Expertise: Knowledge of system design, cloud computing, security principles, and modern development frameworks. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills, able to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to resolve complex technical issues. Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and waterfall project approaches. Collaborative Spirit: Personable, team-oriented, respectful, and empathetic, comfortable working with onsite and remote teams. Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze problems, break them down, and derive insights for decision-making. Strategic Mindset: Forward-thinking, aligning technology solutions with business objectives, and anticipating future challenges. Effective Communication: Clear articulation of ideas and requirements to stakeholders. Time Management: Prioritize tasks, handle conflicting demands, and delegate effectively while maintaining quality.
