IT Asset Manager

Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all IT assets, including hardware,
software
Oversee the entire asset lifecycle—from procurement to retirement, ensuring that
all processes meet organizational requirements.
Coordinate with various teams such as IT, engineering, procurement, and finance
teams to track asset movements, assignments, and disposals, maintaining
accuracy throughout.
Develop and implement asset tracking, auditing, and reporting processes that
integrations, automations to a no touch process.
Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on asset inventory, utilization, and compliance
for service owner, project requests and management review.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to asset data integrity with associated
systems in IT infrastructure, guaranteeing compliance with internal and external
standards.
Maintain application & infrastructure required for asset management.
Establish best practices in IT asset management.
Required Skills
Demonstrated hands-on experience managing IT assets in a medium to large
organization, with a proven track record of meeting compliance requirements.
Strong working knowledge of OpenText or similar enterprise asset tracking tools.
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage,
networking, and end-user devices.
Proven Integration knowledge & experience combining business applications and
infrastructure services
Strong knowledge in understanding business needs and delivering reporting
requirements.
Strong knowledge of web applications, their deployment.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention
to detail and compliance requirements.
Ability to communicate eAectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with ITIL or other IT service management and compliance frameworks.
Experience with defining & building a process; process automation and workflow
opimization within asset management systems.
Familiarity with compliance standards and audit requirements related to IT assets,
such as SOX, GDPR, or ISO certifications.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Certification in IT Asset Management e.g. CITAM or compliance is advantageous
