We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Kitter / Material Handler to support our production operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately pulling and verifying components against work orders, assembling material kits, and ensuring all parts are properly staged and available for production. This position also supports inventory control through regular cycle counting and discrepancy resolution.Position Overview•Collaborate with the Production Supervisor to ensure all work orders are accurately filled and materials are kitted or staged as needed.•Pick and kit components for various stages of production, including pre-staging, fabrication, welding, and system assembly.•Verify the completeness of all required components for each job and ensure they are correctly staged.•Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and process necessary inventory adjustments.•Communicate inventory-related issues or material shortages to appropriate team members or management.•Assist in warehouse and yard organization, including safe and efficient material transportation.•Support ongoing inventory control through cycle counts and reconciliation efforts.Job Requirements:•Minimum 1 year of inventory control, warehouse, or material handling experience in a manufacturing environment.•Proficient in using computers and RFID scanners for inventory tracking.•Forklift certification or ability to obtain and safely operate a forklift.•Able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.•Capable of working efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.•Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
