Job Type Full-time Description Summary/Objective The Inventory Controller is required to coordinate orders and deliveries, perform regular inventory audits and analyses, and forecast supply and demand requirements to ensure consistent stock levels. To ensure success as an Inventory Controller, you should be highly organized and have detailed knowledge of supply chain management software and practices. A top-notch Inventory Controller will be able to forecast inventory requirements accurately and possess excellent logistical abilities. Primary Responsibilities Monitor inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed. Develop and implement inventory control systems and practices. Liaise and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality of stock purchases. Coordinate the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing. Forecast supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability. Track inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS). Analyze and review supply chain data to identify and resolve issues. Generate purchase and pricing reports, supply chain analysis, and inventory management systems. Perform regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the supervisor. Maintain and update records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records Supervisory Responsibilities N/A Requirements Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or similar preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or similar. Excellent knowledge of inventory management software such as EoStar Exceptional understanding of inventory management practices such as ABC analysis and cycle counting. Additional Qualifications and Competencies Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional collaboration and negotiation abilities. Excellent time management and organizational skills Work Environment This position requires exposure to all seasonal weather conditions, traffic noise, automotive fumes, and cramped quarters. This position will report to the Jackson, MS facility and will be exposed to warehouse and occasional outdoors conditions.
