Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Inpatient/Outpatient Responsibilities: Outpatient only
Call Ratio: Balanced call ratio split between physicians and sites
Daily Patient Census: 18 patients per day
Equipment/Resources: Access to state-of-the-art equipment and comprehensive resources
Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
Primary Responsibilities:
Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment
Recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition
Monitors lab results, medication adherence and medication toxicities
Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
Explain and discuss procedures, test results, or prescribed treatment with the patient
Refers patients to medical specialists when necessary
Represents the practice at Hospital committees in such a manner that the burden of attending the meetings is reasonably distributed among all of the physicians in the group
Collaborate and manage APPs
Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Board-certified in Internal Medicine
Licensed to practice medicine in the state
Proven experience in a primary care setting
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Compensation and perks:
Annual Compensation Range: IM $350,000 - W2 employee model (compensation based on 1.0 FTE, full time)
Signing Bonus: up to $30,000
Retention Bonus (beginning at the completion of the 2nd year): up to $30,000 per year
Relocation bonus: up to $15,000 (based on location)
Residency Stipend: up to $2,000 a month
APP Supervision after 2nd year: up to $1,500 per month per 1.0 FTE APP
