This is a critical leadership role with an immediate start date, offering the chance to lead daily operations and support patient care while the facility completes its permanent hire process. ? Position Summary Job Title: Interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) Retail Pharmacy Start Date: ASAP Assignment Length: 810 weeks with potential for extension Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM Pharmacy System: Rx30 Workload: Low-volume, recently opened site with strong tech support Key Responsibilities Oversee daily retail pharmacy operations Ensure full compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations Supervise and collaborate with experienced pharmacy technicians Provide outstanding patient care and prescription accuracy Maintain inventory, documentation, and workflow standards Candidate Requirements Active Illinois Pharmacist License (Required) Retail pharmacy experience in a leadership or PIC capacity Confident stepping into a PIC role immediately Excellent communication and time management skills Comfortable working in a rural, community-oriented setting Why This Opportunity?
