Position Information Job Summary Classroom instructor teaching 1-3 classes per week, each with an approximate 3-5 hour block.
Pharmacy Classes include: PHT 102: Pharmacy Practice and Heath Care PHT 104: Pharmacology for Pharmacy Technicians PHT 114: Community Pharmacy Simulation Lab PHT 116: Community Pharmacy Practicals PHT 122: Advanced Pharmacy Practices (Winter semester only) PHT 124: Hospital Pharmacy Simulation Lab PHT 126: Hospital Pharmacy Practicals Job Duties Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and current and valid pharmacy license. Preferred Qualifications 1. Two (2) years college level teaching experience. 2. Doctorate degree in pharmacy. Physical Requirements Language Skills Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches, presentations and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of trustees.
Mathematical Skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts that apply to the practice of Pharmacy. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
