We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative to join our team at Barens. This hybrid role, based out of Shakopee, Minnesota, will be responsible for processing customer orders accurately, providing exceptional customer support, and making outbound calls to support account retention and growth. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering a positive customer experience. Requirements What is the day in the life of a Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative: Order Entry & Processing: Accurately enter and process customer orders via phone, email, and online platforms Review orders for completeness, pricing accuracy, and product availability Coordinate with internal departments (shipping, accounting, etc.) to ensure timely fulfillment Customer Service: Handle inbound customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, order status, and support issues Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally Maintain customer records and documentation within the CRM system Outbound Sales & Retention: Proactively contact existing customers to build relationships, address needs, and uncover new opportunities Follow up on quotes, backorders, and lapsed accounts to support customer retention Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and relay them to the appropriate sales rep when needed Benefits A competitive wage and total compensation package commensurate with experience.
