Responsibilities
Implements and innovates upon store layout plan in order to best present the product range.
Maintains an organized and visually appealing environment for our customers.
Creates and maintains visual displays.
Devises, implements and executes effective merchandising strategies.
Utilizes space planning tools to ensure simplicity, cost-effectiveness and efficiency in store design.
Executes the store action plan with initiatives that will grow the business and support long-term profitability, and executes the agreed plans in close cooperation with other functions.
Uses knowledge of people's needs and dreams in the local market to implement relevant, inspiring, affordable and commercial range presentation solutions that reflect a wide variety of styles, price levels and meet the many individual tastes and exceed our visitors' expectations.
Keep visitors in mind when working on the shop floor, minimize disruption and remain aware at all times of the importance of safety and the visual impact for visitors.
Respect routines and responsibilities, work together with other functions, act quickly to exploit commercial opportunities and understand the impact of actions on the financial results.
Secure high quality, simplicity, efficiency and cost consciousness in implementing all range presentation solutions by applying guidelines and best practices.
Stay up to date with knowledge about home furnishing, retailing and trends to inspire and surprise visitors with a strong visual impression.
Takes ownership for their own competence development, looks for opportunities and shares knowledge.
Together as a Team To inspire and surprise visitors by presenting and communicating the IKEA home furnishing offer with strong visual impressions that exceed visitors’ expectations. This will strengthen the IKEA Brand and convert more visitors into customers.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year experience of working with visual merchandising or interior design in a retail environment.
REVIT experience required.
Visual competence with a keen eye for aesthetics.
Customer-focused mindset.
A passion for home furnishing, retailing, design and how people live at home.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Enthusiastic about assignments and working with others in a team.
Good attention to detail.
Practical hands-on approach to work.
Job Type Permanent, Full-time
Hours Hourly role. Retail environment, open availability Monday through Friday.
Benefits Eligible Yes
Compensation The pay range for this role is $22.85 to $32.52 USD per hour.
