HVAC/R Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC/R Service Technician with expertise in HVAC Refrigeration, Troubleshooting, and Repair. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling package units, ice machines, chillers, split systems, and preventative maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC refrigeration and troubleshooting tasks efficiently.
• Conduct repair and maintenance on package units, ice machines, chillers, and split systems.
• Implement preventative maintenance strategies to ensure optimal functioning of HVAC systems.
• Service and repair rooftop units and condensers.
• Manage refrigeration equipment and systems.

Essential Skills

• Experience in service and field service in HVAC and refrigeration.
• Proficiency in HVAC troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to work with refrigeration HVAC systems including chillers, condensers, and package units.
• EPA 608 Universal certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Possession of personal hand tools for HVAC service tasks.

Work Environment

The work hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with an expectation of handling 3-5 service calls per day. Technicians are required to report customer HVAC issues within 2 hours of identification. The service area covers Long Island and Queens, with preference for candidates based in Nassau or Queens. A parking space for the van is essential.

This is a Permanent position based out of Westbury, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr. Medical, dental, vision, 401k plan.

This is a fully onsite position in Westbury,NY.
