The Role
As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) , you'll sit at the crossroads of People Services, Store Quality , and Retail Operations , driving the success of our HR function while supporting our teams on the ground. Your key focus will be on employee relations, conflict resolution, and ensuring a positive, inclusive work environment.
You'll also be a critical go-to resource for our team members, providing guidance on everything from conflict resolution to compliance with employment laws. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to lead special projects, manage new hire onboarding, and make an impact on the entire employee experience.
This role is focused heavily on employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
Be the first point of contact for employee relations issues, providing expert guidance and support to both supervisors and employees.
Lead thorough workplace investigations with a neutral, unbiased approach, maintaining accurate and well-documented records.
Act as a trusted resource for team members, providing a "one-stop-shop" for questions, concerns, and conflict resolution.
Collaborate with Store Leadership and the Store Support Center to ensure smooth HR operations across all locations.
Manage all aspects of the onboarding process, from verifying work eligibility to guiding new hires through a seamless first day.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
Facilitate and support training for managers on HR-related policies, procedures, and best practices.
Conduct exit interviews and manage unemployment claims as needed.
Work with external staffing agencies to manage temporary staffing needs.
Drive special HR projects and initiatives as needed.
What You Bring 5+ years of experience in Human Resources with a strong focus on employee relations.
Background in retail, consumer products, hospitality, or a service industry preferred.
Proven ability to conduct investigations, manage complex situations, and make decisions with a high sense of urgency.
Deep knowledge of employment law and best HR practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building relationships and influencing others.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Tech-savvy, with experience in HRIS systems (Dayforce preferred) and MS Office.
A team player with a collaborative spirit and a customer-service mindset.

Pay Rate: $85,000 - $95,000 yearly salary + Quartlery Profit Sharing Bonus
