Overview We are seeking a Hematology and Oncology Physician to join our team at the Central Arkansas VA, a level 1A health system with 551 beds and multiple outreach clinics. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional interdisciplinary care to veterans who have bravely served in the armed forces. Community Highlights Located in the capital city of Little Rock, Arkansas, known as the Natural State, the area offers a vibrant mix of urban, suburban, and rural lifestyles, with numerous outdoor activities, festivals, and cultural attractions. The city is easily accessible via a 15-minute drive from the National Airport. Workload 5 x 8-hour shifts or 4 x 10-hour shifts 2-3 days per week in clinic, with shared inpatient rounds 2-3 days of section leadership responsibilities Inpatient call rotation supported by a full Hospitalist team, IM residents, and HemOnc fellows Compensation & Benefits Starting salary range: $375,000 - $400,000 Over 50 paid days off annually Opportunity to moonlight at other facilities Sign-on bonuses available No malpractice insurance required Comprehensive health and life insurance benefits Retirement pension, investment plans, and health benefits after 5 years of employment Minimum Requirements Active medical license in at least one state (no revoked, suspended, or probation licenses) MD or DO degree from an accredited institution or ECFMG certification Completion of residency training Board eligible in Hematology and Oncology Proficiency in English (written and spoken) Preferences U.S. Citizenship (non-citizens considered if no qualified U.S. citizens apply) Board certified in Hematology and Oncology Experience teaching residents Professional, collaborative work style Hiring Process Apply via PracticeLink or email your CV to Michael Legate at CAVHS Physician Recruitment.
