Bay City, TX – Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Location: Bay City, TX
Employment: Full-time, Night Shift (10pm Sunday - 6am Friday)
Pay: 28-37/hr ** Plus sign-on bonus!!!
Job Title: Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Equipment, Forklift & Gen Set Specialist
Reporting To: Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct preventive maintenance using equipment checklists
  • Diagnose issues with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot forklifts, trucks, wheel loaders
  • Read schematics and service manuals
  • Use digital systems to track parts and maintenance
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in similar roles
  • Familiar with major heavy equipment makes and systems
  • High School diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred
Skills
  • Must bring own tools
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong electrical/system knowledge
  • Good interpersonal skills and safety-first mindset
  • Valid driver’s license required
