About the Role
The Company is in search of a strategic Head of Retail to spearhead the next phase of omnichannel growth. This leadership role is pivotal in owning the retail strategy across various channels, with a focus on expanding the brand's presence and ensuring seamless execution from initial engagement to in-store. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing retail growth strategies, building strong buyer relationships, managing pricing and promotional planning, and partnering with cross-functional teams to align plans and deliver results. A key aspect of the role is to use retail analytics to monitor performance, optimize execution, and ensure a top-tier in-store presence through effective merchandising and planogram execution.
The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years' of experience in CPG or personal care, with a deep expertise in retail sales and national accounts. They should possess strong analytical and data fluency, a proven track record in meeting revenue and margin goals, and excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills. A startup mindset, experience in leading high-performing teams, and a Bachelor's degree are preferred. The role requires a leader who is comfortable with ambiguity, can move quickly, and is adept at mentoring and growing a retail sales team. The Head of Retail will be the key driver of revenue for the brand, and as such, a combination of strategic vision and operational excellence is essential.
