• Create a warm, welcoming, and easy-to-navigate shopping experience.

• Build and share product knowledge to help customers find the perfect cards, gifts, and keepsakes for every occasion.

• Provide personalized service, helping customers connect meaningfully with the people they care about.

• Share stories and reinforce our culture of kindness and connection.

• Assist with daily store operations, including:

  • Stocking and merchandising

  • Processing sales at the register

  • Managing inventory and shipments

  • Fulfilling Hallmark.com and curbside pickup orders

• Deliver exceptional customer service that encourages guests to return.

• Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and enhance the overall customer experience.

• Perform other tasks as assigned.

• Flexible availability, including evenings, holidays, special events, and occasional weekends.

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods; occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs), bending, reaching, and climbing ladders.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Must be at least 16 years old and meet applicable work permit requirements.

• 1+ years of experience in retail, sales, or customer service preferred.

• Strong communication and consultative selling skills.

• Team-oriented with a strong customer-first mindset.

• Willingness to adapt, receive feedback, and embrace change.

• Comfortable using computers and point-of-sale technology.
