We’re looking for a positive and professional hotel front desk agent to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest at our guest house. You’ll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us. Compensation:

$18 - $20 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Bookkeeping: keep accurate records of all hotel guest account information
  • Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests
  • Connect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready
  • Welcome, register, check-in, and check out guests staying at the hotel, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information
  • Field customer complaints when necessary
  • Inspecting rooms before guest arrivals, performing tours, and checking in process with guests in a timely and effective manner.
  • Answering phones, responding to emails, making reservations, performing daily cleaning tasks, etc.
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks for room refreshes.
  • Communicating with guests in a friendly, helpful, and accommodating manner.
  • Assisting with guests' requests when needed
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Weekend availability is a must.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
  • At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred
  • Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Cooking experience is not required, but an enthusiasm for it is.
