A Greenhouse Retail Grower and Operations Assistant (full, part-time, or internship) position is available. This position would entail growing seasonal annuals, planters, baskets, vegetables and more. Also, assisting with ordering product, managing inventory and creating displays. Ensuring the health & quality of plants being grown for retail sales. Also, assisting retail customers with questions, suggestions and ideas with greenhouse products. Requirements for fulfillment include, but are not limited to: · Degree in Horticulture or knowledge of the industry. · MS Office Experience would be helpful. · Must be friendly, patient, have a strong work ethic and communication skills. · Must be creative and a fast learner. -Must be able to work well with others. -Must be comfortable with working outside and being on your feet for long periods of time. -Must be available to work some weekends, during our busy season. · Must be eager to work with the general public. Caring for plant material in multiple greenhouses Assisting retail and wholesale customers with plant purchases Creating and Organizing Seasonal displays throughout the greenhouses Hands on planting. Creating custom annual planters. Assisting with events & activities for retail customer base.
