Experience Required

Attention to detail is a must.

Must have Golf Knowledge and be familiar with most golf terminology.

Must be computer literate and able to use multiple forms of software including Microsoft Office and Agilysys (Tee Sheet).

Must be able to effectively communicate with guests to enhance the scope of their experience and diffuse and resolve guests' concerns.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Must be highly organized and able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.

Problem solving and critical thinking.

Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines/ instructions in English.

Maintain the resort’s integrity and prestige by complying with all golf, sales and operational standards, policies, procedures, manuals, memos and instructions.

Must be able to work weekends, rotating schedules and holidays.

Essential Responsibilities

The golf shop staff will provide a warm and welcoming greeting at the start of our guests’ round of golf.

Checking in golfers and providing information about the course.

Assist guests in booking tee times and renting golf clubs.

Collecting payment and assisting with any merchandise guests may need for their round of golf.

Maintain a clean and organized golf shop, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed and stocked.

Process retail transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling payments and issuing receipts.

Assist with inventory management, restocking merchandise, and conducting regular stock checks.

Assist guests in renting golf clubs, ensuring proper fitting and briefing on usage.

Report any equipment issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution.

Maintain accurate records of golf reservations, rentals, and retail sales.

Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
