Position Overview
Pilot Flying J seeks an experienced Retail Operations General Manager to lead our high-volume retail facilities. In this role, you will develop and implement effective business plans to achieve sales, profit targets, and enhance customer satisfaction.
The Retail Operations General Manager will be responsible for:
Meeting and exceeding customer expectations
Conducting regular meetings with team members
Maintaining positive relationships with vendors
As the General Manager, you will lead staffing initiatives including interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching team members.
Additional key responsibilities include:
Driving sales growth
Managing and developing team members
Tracking and managing inventory effectively
Providing exceptional customer service
Performing financial analyses, including P&L review
Salary
Competitive pay rates starting at $54,300.00 - $80,750.00 per year.
Qualifications
To be successful as a Retail Operations General Manager, you should demonstrate integrity and accountability at a managerial level and showcase exemplary leadership skills. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.
Required qualifications include:
2-3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, grocery, or service industries with financial accountability
Proven management experience in a high-volume retail environment with P&L responsibility
Ability to foster a customer-focused culture
