Job Description Job Purpose: The General Manager is responsible for driving sales and profit, leading a high-performance team, managing resources efficiently, and maintaining high standards of customer service, safety, and compliance. The role involves promoting a positive work environment, overseeing store operations, inventory, staffing, and ensuring adherence to company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop the store team to enhance customer experience and drive sales.

Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising, and signage standards.

Foster teamwork, motivate staff, and oversee store promotions and merchandising standards.

Ensure compliance with store policies and safety standards.

Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and management to improve performance and growth.

Manage inventory, sales transactions, and POS system operations.

Recruit, hire, and develop staff, maintaining low open position rates.

Handle performance management and disciplinary actions in collaboration with HR.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Skills/Qualifications:

Proven leadership in retail, preferably in convenience stores.

Experience in team management, customer service, and basic financial knowledge.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lift 25 lbs, stand, and work on feet for extended periods.

Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and POS systems.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail management experience preferred.
